Before You Begin
We recommend washing all bedlinen before first use. Important: Never wash with polyester fabrics, as polyester is prone to pilling (forming small fabric balls) that can transfer to natural fibers, reducing your linen's lustrous appearance.
Understanding Natural Shrinkage
All natural fiber bedlinen will experience some shrinkage unless pre-shrunk. All Finer Things accounts for normal shrinkage in our sizing. Avoid very high temperatures to prevent excessive shrinkage and creasing—cold washing is always preferred, with occasional 40°C washes being acceptable.
Washing Instructions
Water Temperature: Use cold water (maximum 40°C) with a gentle, mild detergent followed by a cold rinse.
Detergent Amount: Less is more! Excessive detergent can clog natural fibers. Your bedlinen will be just as clean with a smaller amount and will last significantly longer.
Timing: Remove from the washing machine immediately when the cycle completes to prevent wrinkles from setting.
Drying Your Bedlinen
Line Drying (Recommended): Hang in shade away from direct sunlight for naturally fresh, nearly crease-free results.
Tumble Drying: Use low heat settings and include the cool-down cycle to minimize creases. Shake items before placing in the dryer, and remove promptly when finished.
